Meet our team
Eric Peters
The association newsletter writing service News Grill was founded by Eric Peters, a copy editor with many years of experience with state and national associations and with local and state government. He has served eight years as Cole County Commissioner and is currently serving his fifth term as Cole County Treasurer (Missouri).
Eric obtained a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and completed the graduate-level Legal Assistant Program at Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois. He has provided a wide range of paralegal/legislative analyst and newsletter writing services to associations (including the Distilled Spirits Council, Missouri Forest Products Association, Missouri Ag Industries Council, and the Health Insurance Association of America) and to law firms (including Hunton & Williams, Martin, Craig, Chester & Sonnenshein, Woolsey, Fisher, Whiteaker & McDonald, and Shaw, Pittman, Potts & Trowbridge).
Eva Rohrbach
Eva Rohrbach brings a varied background to the Newsletter Grill writing team. Her past experience includes administrative work with non-profit associations, liability insurance, manufacturing, state agencies and churches. She also has a B.S. is Business Administration from University of Central Missouri. Eva has contributed to newsletters on a wide variety of topics including legislative issues, senior living, church news, and employee news, in addition to her work in graphic design.
Living in Missouri her entire life, Eva currently lives on a farm in rural Cole County with her fiancé. They enjoy being in close proximity to many family and friends, and enjoy spending quality time together with them.
Jacob Sones
Jacob Sones brings vast his work experience in economics, infrastructure planning, and consulting to productively inform his writing with Newsletter Grill. Currently serving as a member of the initial assessment team at the Missouri Tax Commission, Jacob has extensive and diverse work experience including Zoe Consultations, State of Missouri (Infrastructure Planner), State of Wyoming (Senior Economic Analyst), and Carte Blanche Consulting and Laramie County Community College (Program Manager).
Jacob received degrees in Management and Economics (BS) as well as an MBA both from University of Wyoming, and is currently enrolled in a Conscious Business Ethics Ph.D. program.
